This morning my girlfriend Angela and I took Brooklyn to the Shedd aquarium. Brooklyn was so excited running from fish tank to fish tank!

They say that pictures don't tell the whole story, but there's not much more to this situation. I have a feeling that Brooklyn will warm up to the idea of Santa after the 25th.

Keeping up with the Torkelson's

I have to admit that this week I have been a ball of stress. Work has been overwhelming, and xmas shopping is an adventure with a one year old! Last night as I was wining about all that I have to do, Brooklyn proceeded to puke all over me! I think it was her way of saying.....don't take life too seriously! If you are having a bad day, just think it could be worse, you could have puke all over you! Brian and I joke, but I do think that we could be a reality tv show....well more like a comedy act!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

Brooklyn was so excited when she woke up and saw snow covering everything! (and so was mommy!)

So....we bundled up and headed out!



Nothing like a visit to the dentist to warm us all up, especially if he is your papa! Brooklyn even scored a tigger toothbrush!! It was fun to watch Brooklyn playing in the dentist chair, something I did often while growing up, though I think I always was the dentist and Jenna or Allie had to be the patient : )


Our Saturday ended with Nana C coming out to spend some quality time with Brooklyn while Brian and I had a date night!
