Girls trip to VEGAS and Memorial Weekend!

 It was not until I was sitting on the plane that I finally started to relax.  I had such high anxiety about leaving Brooklyn for a few nights, even sheading tears in the cab on the way to Midway.  I needed some sun, some fun, and some time with the girls!  Even though I missed Brian and Brooklyn, I had such a great time.  The weather was perfect, and the dice were rolling!  We took over the crap table, came out even on the blackjack table, and lost it all on let it ride.  The first night we stayed up over 24 hours, I even got to say good morning to Brooklyn before I finally headed to bed!  The only thing missing was Nana C, but that just means that we will have to head back soon!  To my girls, I love you all!  Thanks for a wonderful weekend, and for memories that will make me laugh over and over again!  (wonder where that black man in overalls is now working? : )

Here are some pictures from Memorial Day.  Brooklyn got a chance to visit with Grandma and Papa T and Nana and Papa C. She loved driving the John Deere tracker and playing in a bucket of water...two things she doesn't get a chance to do in the city.

A weekend to remember!

What a weekend!  On Friday night we helped Allie celebrate the big 21.  Times like that make you reflect on how lucky we are to have such an amazing family.  Fun was definitely had by all!  On Saturday we happened to drive by a church in our neighborhood that was having a huge fundraiser, where they were selling kids toys!  It was like Christmas!  We picked up quite a few toys along with this climber.  To say that Brooklyn was excited would be an understatement, she has already made a hundred trips down that slide!

Brooklyn is quite the chef!

Brooklyn is really starting to engage in pretend play.  For some reason that girl is always happy and always up for playing!  I think she can make anything a little more fun!  In these pictures she is putting an onion in Brian's cup and just laughing and laughing!  Where does she get these ideas? :)
