The life of a teacher, this is a comment I hear often when I talk about summer vacation. What a wonderful life it is! Brooklyn and I spend at least 4 to 5 hours outside everyday! We have a bucket list of things to do, places to go, and people to see! We are also taking swimming lessons and gymnastics class, which so far Brooklyn seems to be really enjoying. She always surprises me by being the first to volunteer, going underwater, and jumping off of the balance beam.
One of my favorite aspects of summer vacation is the time, time to catch up with old friends, time to enjoy ice cream, time to skip, play hop-scotch, and build forts! One of the major blessings of having a child is becoming one yourself again. It's crazy to think that next summer there will be two little ones to play with!
