Happy 3rd Birthday Brooklyn!

Happy Birthday my love!  I was so excited last night that I could barely sleep.  I kept thinking about this day three years ago and how excited, nervous, scared we were.  I remember first getting to hold you and wondering about the future.  Little did I know that you would become my whole world.  I am constantly amazed by how witty, smart, and kind you are.  Everything is a little more fun with you around!

 














I love driving with you, even if you ask what every sign we pass says.....I love grocery shopping with you, even when you stop and ask everyone we pass what their name is....I love snuggling on the couch with you, even if it means watching Mickey Mouse for the hundredth time...

I love cooking with you!  I love playing house with you!  I love exploring new parks with you! I love that your favorite food is a pumpkin scone from Starbucks!  I love how you can't wait to go golfing with your daddy! I love how you want to play football like your Uncle Mike.  I love how curious you are about everything.  I love how you tell on me every time I steal money from daddy.  I love how you always ask for one more hug before going to bed.  I love how you put your head on my shoulder when I carry you to the bathroom in the middle of the night.  I love how you want us to buy a pink house.  I love how you are learning to pump your legs in the swing.  I love how you sing, "I am bringing home a bumblebee..." over and over again!  I love how you kiss my belly and say hi to baby bear.  I love your giggle.  I love your stinky socks and how you throw them at me!  I love how you rarely wear anything but sweatpants, but that you love your nails painted.  I love how you say "sorr-you" instead of sorry.  I love how you always want to go to the bank just to get a sucker.  I love how you would eat ketchup as a meal.  I love how when you play doctor you use chap-stick as the medicine.  I love that you use books to calm down for bed.  I love your booty dance!  I love how you wanted to sleep in basketball shorts and no shirt like daddy.  I love how you say your hair is a wreck!  I love how often you make me laugh! But most of all....

I love how brave you are, how independent you are, and what a strong personality you have!  I love that you are the best mix of Brian and I.  I love that you are my daughter, and for that I am so lucky!
