The past few weeks have been wonderfully overwhelming, totally chaotic, and extremely productive! We moved in to our new home on July 1st!! Yay!!! Love the house, hate moving! Thankfully our place is starting to come together and we are looking forward to creating lots of great memories in our home!
A while ago at soccer Brooklyn was asked who her superhero is, and she responded that her daddy is her superhero! I have to say that Grandma and Papa T are currently my superheros! There is the family that you are born into, the family that you marry into, and your friends who you treat as family. I feel so lucky that I have this big wonderful family filled with people who are so willing to come hang out and help out! Grandma and Papa T came on Sunday and stayed through Monday. On Sunday we had a great time hanging out and crossing things off of our todo list! On Monday they watched the kiddos while I went to class and Brian was at work. When we got home not only were the kids happy, but the lawn was mowed, Brooklyn's chair was fixed and newly painted, and Papa even went on the roof to clean our skylights! To top it off Grandma T knew that this week would be stressful trying to balance it all and she made us dinner for both Monday and Tuesday. This thoughtfulness and kindness overwhelms me and makes me feel so lucky to have such a wonderful family! The class I am taking at Northwestern goes from Monday through Thursday. My mom came today and is coming again on Thursday to watch the kids. We have some lucky kiddos!! So far this class has been very interesting and worthwhile so I am thankful for all of the help and support!
