Martha Stewart

So this morning Brooklyn runs to her coat and pulls out one of her friends gloves, and tells me that Savannah wanted to know if Brooklyn's mommy could sew her glove.  I looked at Brooklyn and said, "why in the world would Savannah think that I can sew?"  Brooklyn says, "well mom you have a sewing kit."  Let me clairify, my sewing kit is travel sized with a few neutral colors.  If you have ever seen either my girl scout sash and/or the shorts I sewed/glued together, you would know that this is not an area that I excel in......but, how could I resist not spending 5 minutes trying to thread the needle and another 10 minutes attempting to put Savannah's glove back together??  Brooklyn was so excited to give the glove back!  Our little girl's desire to help others just continues to melt my heart.
