I finally got the courage to tell my students the exciting news, though I think many of them had figured it out. It is hard to hide it these days : ).
My students had a small quiz today and the extra credit question was....."What is so special about the date October 9th, 2009?"
After I told them the answer, there were many that were bummed that they did not write that down. They said that they thought I was pregnant, but didn't want to write it down and be wrong....I thought that was so sweet, that they convinced me to give them all extra credit : ) This baby thing is softening me up!
