Crazy Day of Firsts

Brooklyn had her 4 day doctor's appointment on Tuesday and it turned into a hectic day. First, we had a 9am appt and packed her up in the car seat, took her downstairs, put her into the car, and then tried to start the car, but it was dead. I ran down Fullerton to get Kristen's mom's car and bring it into the garage. I tried to jump our car, but nothing worked. We called the pediatrician's office and luckily they were able to get us in at 11:30. So, Brooklyn took her first cab ride.

After the appointment (doc said everything looked great), we had to walk a block to find a cab, but when we walked outside it was raining and of course didn't have an umbrella. We throw a blanket over the car seat and made a run for it. On the way, Kristen found a Carter's store. So, mommy and baby went on their first girls shopping spree (daddy paid).

We had to have the car towed to the dealership but we were fortunate that it was just a completely dead battery. Other than that she is doing great, except for her nightly 11pm hour long flipping out. She's definitely a snuggler and loves to be held and curled up.
