She has finally arrived. Brooklyn Marie Torkelson was born at 10:43pm on October 2, 2009. She weighed in at 6 lbs 7 ozs and measured 20 in long.Mommy and Brooklyn are doing great after a long, grueling 24 hours of labor.

Ohhh Brooklyn you are a gorgeous little girl!! I think daddy needs to go buy you and mommy each a pair of Manolo Blahnik's and a matching handbag pronto for surviving 24 hours of labor!! You and Mommy are rockstars for sure! Brian hurry up with the videos and pictures those of us in Washington are dying to see the newest edition to the family! AND my phone is out of comission making your fabulous blog my only means of getting to drool over your precious baby girl!!
