Brooklyn being Brooklyn

Brooklyn's quote this morning, "Mommy let's go to the hospital."  I was a little confused so I asked her why should we go to the hospital, her response "so she could have a sleepover at Brady's again!" 


In the car the other day on our way to school Brooklyn asked why we were going this way, and I told her that Skokie Blvd was under construction so we were going to try and avoid the mess.  She looked at me and said, "that makes complete sense."


Brooklyn's teacher told me that at lunch Brooklyn asked her if she had her Halloween costume.  Ms. Adrian was a little surprised (I don't think she realizes that I am planner) and asked Brooklyn what she was going to be for Halloween, Brooklyn's response, "We haven't figured it out yet, but maybe a monkey?" 

Bedtime has always been a battle, Brooklyn just loves to be awake!  The other night Brooklyn said she had to go potty for the 3rd time that night, so we took in the bathroom and set her on the potty and waited.  I finally asked her if she was going to go, and she said, "probably not."
