Not only was yesterday Brooklyn's first day of preschool, but she had her first swimming lessons without mom as well. When they called her name for her swim lesson and she just hopped off the chair and ran to meet her new teacher, I was the one that wanted to hold on. She is so independent, curious, and ready to learn. Now I just need to work on my independence from her : )
Excuse me am I the only one that thinks Brooklyn has a double in her swim class?

Oh Kristen, I know what you mean! You like for them to be independent, but not too much! It's wonderful to see how much she loves the water and being with other children.
