Third trimester here we come......
The baby and I had a doctors appointment today and my stomach is measuring 28 centimeters (right on track). I have gained another 2 pounds bringing the total up to 14. While we were listening to the heartbeat the baby got the hiccups, this is a new daily occurrence! The doctor said that the baby is already head down, so he or she has chosen to moon me all day long!
Last week I had to go in for a glucose screening test, and unfortunately my levels were too high (161). I now get to go in for a three hour blood test to make sure I don't have a form of diabetes. I have also had a sharp pain that comes and goes on my side. I was thinking that I might have pulled a muscle during my prenatal pilates class, but the doctor wants me to go in and have an ultrasound on my gallbladder. Hopefully these tests end up being a waste of my time, but we will have more answers next week.
